Prenatal Yoga

COVID-19 UPDATE: Maxifisio offers all services in person and online.

For more information please contact us and visit our class timetable.

If you are pregnant and want to practice Prenatal Yoga do not hesitate to book a session with Maxifisio. All sessions last 55 minutes, working with English speaking physiotherapist Maria Moreno who specialises in Women’s Health and who will guide you to perform each posture (or asana) step by step.

Maxifisio’s Prenatal Yoga sessions and classes are Hatha Yoga based, adapting the class to the prenatal period and avoiding poses that are contraindicated during pregnancy. Prenatal Yoga can help you to improve sleep, reduce stress and anxiety, increase the strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth and decrease lower back pain, nausea, headaches and shortness of breath, among other benefits.

Maxifisio offers Prenatal Yoga sessions in studio (one-to-one) and group classes in the El Viso area of Madrid. If you are interested in a group class please check our class timetable.

Given the coronavirus pandemic, we are also offering our Prenatal Yoga one-to-one sessions and Prenatal Yoga classes online. For more information on our online sessions and group classes please contact us.
